Reality Check
Tonight as I made dinner I kept having that feeling that I was missing something. I paused and then laughed at my needless worry. I was totally on top of things today. I smiled as I thought of all that I had accomplished today. I went grocery shopping (with a 2 year and 4 year old in tow), cleaned my house (you know the dreaded Monday morning clean), worked on my church calling, prepared for Family Home Evening, did my little transcribing job, kept to my healthy eating plan, etc. Here I was even getting dinner underway early so we could go work in the yard tonight. We had our lesson, played our game and then I served a lovely tuna casserole (food snobs, don't judge me it's economical, nutritous and my kids love it). As I dished up the first plate that missing something feeling came into focus and I was quickly humbled. I can't even remember to put tuna in tuna casserole. Bon-bons and soaps tomorrow.

lol! wow, I so have done that before with that exact same recipe, (if its the same one that i have and I am pretty sure it is b/c I got it from you,) it doesn't say on the recipe to put the tuna in. so you see its not your fault. : )
Good point Eliza! Funny. But seriously Ange, what a productive day. You should be proud!
wow- it's like the one time i made cake, but forgot to put the water in (box recipe) and the whole thing was flat! thats funny!
So funny, and you were doing so well. It probably tasted better anyway.
LoL! That is great, Ange. Well, I guess you can feel really good about the rest of your day, and missing just one thing in your day is a pretty darn good day if you ask me.
The devil is always in the "details". Look at the money you saved..... Now you have an extra can of tuna for "another day".
Would love to have your recipe, but you'll have to add the tuna to it for people who have senior moments.
I hope you enjoyed those bonbons!
Dang it- you missed an opportunity to use your tuna strainer (which I've been looking for by the way. Where did you say you found one?).
Wow what a day, you were so productive. You are hilarious. I'm just proud of you for making dinner, tuna or no tuna. Here at our house dinner is a major feat-sad I know.
Oh, the complete understanding feeling I am enjoying in your behalf! I have so been there! It reminds me of Rachel on friends when she makes the triffle with beef. And her good friends try to eat it anyway! I bet it tasted just as good, right? I'd love the recipe. I'm no food snob!
