You spend your mornings fishing for sharks with a measuring tape off the coast of …couch in mismatched jammies with a golf glove and a panda mask on.
When you’re 4 and you’re Ben you want pizza for lunch and even when your mom tells you she doesn’t have any pizza, you’ll keep telling (and yelling) that you want pizza for lunch.
When you’re 4 and you’re Ben you’ll tell your Mom you’re cleaning her room for her and then when she looks to see how exactly you’re cleaning she sees that you’ve cleared her dresser off and are doing this:
Uh, so yes this is our bedroom and that wallpaper (which was lovely in it’s day) was going to be to be the first thing we got rid of. Almost eight years later…yeah)
When you’re 4 and you’re Ben you have lots of opinions and you feel more strongly now than you did when you were just 3 or 2.
When you’re 4 and you’re Ben you’re very loved.

Oh Andrea, what a sweet post! It captured so well, in a very few words, so much about this adorable little man. Warmed my heart.
Wow what a video! He reminds me of a young Chris-- who was a climbing, jumping, fearless little monkey. So cute!
unreal! His natural athletic ability is stunning, kind of like your bowling power. love the panda mask, dang funny.
That picture is the best!
What a happy little world he lives in.
cute post about a loveable little boy.
Great post!!!! What a happy fun boy.
That is a really awesome flip. Can't stop watching it.
The only thing better than the flip is his facial expression after. Pretty proud of himself, that little guy.
Oh, kind of freaky, him diving off the dresser. What a sweet post about your little boy.
Wow, I think his shark fishing outfit is so funny. I love what a tough, macho, grown up dude he is in his mind, and how tuned in he is to having gear (the conception, but not the execution, reminds me of a young Davis.) But I particularly love that his tough dude outdoorsy gear for shark fishing is a panda mask and golf glove. The golf glove makes intuitive sense to me, but the panda mask? LOL.
After seeing the vid a few times with me, Oliver wanted to do the same, so he ran to my room, cleared some stuff off Reba's end table by the bed (which is a few inches below the top of the bed) and did a cool jump.
christian and i had a great time watching this and the second we were done, oliver ran to our room, cleared off my (very small and only slightly taller than bed-height) nightstand and tried to imitate benny.
I love Benny posts. He's always having so much fun.
